Introduction

CocoaGit is an implementation of the git, stupid content tracker, version control system using Apples Cocoa and Objective-C. The project was begun as as a two part experiment to learn both Cocoa and the way in which git works.

Testing

The unit tests are the moment are independent from the other targets of the project. Once work is further along towards goal of a usable framework they'll be made a dependency of the framework build. For the moment though you have to first change the current target to the "Unit Tests" target and then build the project.

The build process will compile the unit tests and run the test suite, any errors will show up as build errors.

Also note that the test repository is in UnitTests/Resources/test_repo and the .git directory is called dot_git_dir due to some issues with git storing another git repository within itself. A script is run before and after the unit tests to rename dot_git_dir to .git and back again afterwards.
